Holiday Projects

Just like countless others this year, I definitely felt the personal affects of the state of our economy. I decided that rather spend money on useless gifts (and to try to save a buck or two), I would make gifts for some of our family members. I'm not sure if I really saved money or not after buying a lot of the supplies, but I had LOADS of fun making each of the projects and felt such a sense of accomplishment when they were finished. I love the fact that people will have lasting memories of this particular holiday...the Christmas of 2009....much longer than the sweater that was on sale at JC Penney.
